HUNTing for Homes

This home is located in Mullheim, Thurgau, Switzerland and it was suggested by the guide that this is the Gubler home.  However, since that time I have learned that this is not OUR Gubler home, as ours is on a side road, not the main road.  I will post photos after the 2015 trip of our Gubler homes.  I leave this photo here to show the different type of construction here in Mullheim.  This house is on Kreuzlinerstrasse.  THIS HOUSE IS NOT OUR HOUSE.

The block that many of the Gublers came from lived on the block bordered by Kreuzlingerstrasse on the East, Rosengasse on the North and West and Gasse on the South.  

There are three houses of significance on the corner where Rosengasse bends from North to West.  On google it looks like the home that Hans Heinrich (Casper's Father) and Casper lived in was number 5.  It is on the North Side, second house from the Northwest corner.  It is beige with green shutters and is a very old house.  

On the corner is a white house with black shutters.  I assume that it is number 6.  This home is where Joseph Gubler (Magdelina's Father) lived.  The second house on the west side of the block, also Rosengasse, is where Hans Adam (Hans Heinrich's father) lived.  It may be number 7.  Interestinly, Magdelina and Casper lived next door to each other in Müllheim.  The next long house on the West side of Rosengasse also showed that it was owned by a Gubler at one time.  Not sure of this connection.              (written by Paul Graff, shared by Sherry Anderson)
