Aarwangen Stain Glass

Inside the Reformed Evangelish Churches of Switzerland are a variety of traditions to the local community. One tradition that was seen almost everywhere I went was the beautiful, intricate stained glass windows there. They range in dates, and artisan but each is uniquely beautiful. I wish I could understand the symbolism that goes into these art treasures, but alas, the best I can do is just enjoy them.

If you enlarge the pictures you can see the detail more clearly and each is marked clearly inside the glass with the date it was made.
